Alan Dougherty
Piano
Alan currently plays piano for community theaters and schools around Connecticut.
He started lessons at age 7 with Arthur Bowman, and continued with Alan Murchie from New York City. He then learned from Teresa Dybuig, and attended Furman University in South Carolina.
Throughout High School, Alan competed in the Meriden Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist competitions, and was the winner of the Lucille B. Stewart award in 1993.
