Chris Massa-Pelletier

Flute, Clarinet, Violin, Viola, Cello, Oboe, French Horn

Chris has an extensive amount of musical experience. He has played and performed on the Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, Viola, Violin, French Horn, Trumpet, Oboe, Piano, Bass Guitar, and Fife!

Chris began teaching flute and clarinet at JC Music in September 2007. He has over ten years of experience with woodwind instruments.

Chris has played first chair flute, piccolo, and second oboe with the Augusta Curtis Concert Band and is currently playing french horn in that same group. He is also the Music Coach for the Central Connecticut Civic Youth Orchrestra and the conductor for the CCCYO’s Foundational Orchestra based in Meriden.

Chris is a graduate of the Meriden Public Schools and has studied ear training and music education at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Chris plans to complete a degree in music education and looks forward to becoming an instrumental music instructor.
