Jared Havelevitch

Jared has been studying music since the age of 10. He began as a saxophone player and experimented with several instruments before discovering the guitar.

Jared has been playing the guitar for over twelve years and studied under Pete Cocolla. Some of his major influences are Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Yngwie Malmsteen and Joe Satriani. Over the years Jared has transcribed many of the solos from these influential guitarists. By doing so, he has developed a great ear for detail, improvisational skills and an ability to write his own music. Jared has now been teaching guitar for over four years.

Jared is currently completing a degree at the Hartford Conservatory with a primary focus on performance. His overall style consists of many genres, but his main interests are in Progressive Heavy Metal, Blues, Jazz and a bit of Classical which fuses together to get a nice versatile blend.
