Melissa Labbe

Melissa is an accomplished singer and vocal instructor. She has had private vocal instruction for over fourteen years. Her studies include private vocal lessons at Hartt School of Music, Western Connecticut State University and Central Connecticut State University. She has performed in operettas that include Pirates of Penzance, Suor Angelica, Trial by Jury, and the comic opera “The Marriage of Figaro”.

She has been teaching vocal lessons for several years in the area and has also performed in musicals like Sweeny Todd and Peter Pan. She has also participated in many choirs including WCSU choir, CCSU Choral, Northern Regionals, and Connecticut All-State Choir. She is currently attending Central Connecticut State University pursuing a degree in Music Education and is studying with Adele Paxton, an accomplished opera singer.
